Metorik syncs your full order history and gives you dashboards, custom reports, customer segments, cohort and subscription reporting, plus email broadcasts, automations and abandoned-cart recovery. It tracks profit from product costs, shipping, payment fees and synced ad spend. Its AI assistant, Tori, answers questions about your data on every plan.
Jimmy connects read-only to WooCommerce or Shopify, Google Ads, Meta Ads, GA4, Search Console and Merchant Center. It works out margin per product, order and campaign, compares each day to your store's own normal, and sends a short WhatsApp message only when something needs action. There's no dashboard to learn.
Metorik is the deeper reporting tool, by a distance. Custom dashboards, segments you can slice any way, cohorts, subscription metrics and clean CSV exports are things Jimmy simply doesn't do.
It also does a job Jimmy doesn't touch at all: email. Broadcasts, automated flows and abandoned-cart recovery live in the same app as your reports.
It's cheaper at the low end too. A store under 100 orders a month pays $25, and it connects more ad networks than we do.
Metorik is at its best when someone opens it and asks questions. Digests in email and Slack help, but the work still starts with a person reading reports.
Jimmy starts from the other end. It reads the numbers every day and only speaks when margin is at risk: a campaign that stopped paying, a best-seller about to run out, a feed error hiding products.
Both tools count product cost, shipping, payment fees and ad spend. Metorik lets you explore that profit by product, order and customer segment.
Jimmy uses it to put a price on each problem it finds, so the alert says what the issue costs you, not just that a number moved.
